In a Wizarding World twist that even J.K. Rowling couldn't have foreseen, AI-powered technology has created surrealist scenes of a Harry Potter rave at Hogwarts. Generated using AI language models and the cutting-edge diffusion model DALL-E3, these images showcase the franchise's beloved characters letting loose on the dancefloor—to say the least.
The creation process involved a touch of linguistic magic. IT consultant Ionut "John" Burchi, a self-described AI Realist, said the enchanting images were developed via the use of AI language models such as Microsoft's Copilot and OpenAI's ChatGPT. The AI is prompted with lesser-known synonyms or old English words to avoid potential censorship.
Once the linguistic groundwork is laid, the AI-powered large language model takes the reins. It generates the final prompt, which is then sent to DALL·E 3, OpenAI's sophisticated text-to-image model.
The result is a magical montage wherein Harry and Hermione are captured in the midst of a Boiler Room-like rave with their Hogwarts counterparts, including the legendary Professor Dumbledore, who dons a glowstick with a twinkle in his eye as if he's casting spells on the dancefloor. Even the loyal house-elf Dobby gets in on the action, throwing up his rock hands.
