It's been nearly a decade since Skrillex's last album, 2014's deeply influential debut, Recess. New original music had been few and far between, save for his extensive catalog of radio-friendly records. But 2023 has already seen him release a handful of tracks as he sets the scene for the album's follow-up nearly a decade later.
Skrillex confirmed the double-album will release in 2023 before dropping a dizzying string of singles: "Rumble," "Way Back," "Leave Me Like This" and "Real Spring." He's also been teasing a monster collaboration with famed rapper Missy Elliott, but has not confirmed an impending release at the time of writing.
