Carl Cox’s Luxurious New Timepiece is Limited to a Drop of Just 100

Swiss watch manufacturer ZENITH has teamed up with Carl Cox for a collaborative timepiece.

We're told the techno legend's new "Defy Extreme" watch features a bevy of lavish specs, including an opulent yellow-gold bezel and chronograph movement of 1/100th of a second. In a clever ode to the legendary DJ's storied career, the timepiece also features an open dial with chronograph counters in the form of miniature vinyl records.

Cox's luxurious timepiece does, however, come at a massive premium. The "Defy Extreme" starts at a staggering price of $30,100, so it's more fitting for a watch collector than your average raver.

Cox's recent ventures have been eye-popping, to say the least. In January of this year, the techno pioneer launched his own racing team under the umbrella of his Carl Cox Motorsport brand before competing in the Extreme E championship.

He then made history in May when he performed at the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You can watch footage from the dazzling set here.
