deadmau5 Teases Potential Drum & Bass Alias

Is deadmau5 working on a new project to produce drum & bass music?

The electronic music icon has been showing love for the genre recently, especially in a recent livestreamed mix from his home studio. Now he's taken to social media to tease an unreleased drum & bass track in a post with the caption, "So do I need another alias for this shit?"

"Petition to drop some dnb," wrote his record label, mau5trap, in the comment section, pouring gasoline on the hype's fire. Sure enough, comments of support then flooded in from deadmau5's fellow music producers and fans alike, including DJ Fresh, S.P.Y and Craze.
