It's the third single of the year for the red-hot producer, who recently released "Be The One," which was notably featured in Calvin Harris' headlining Coachella performances, and "Love is Free." Each of those records departs from Brown's characteristic tech house inclinations, instead embracing subterranean sounds that draw inspiration from his formative years in Bristol's underground dance music scene.
A highly anticipated ID, teased by the likes of John Summit and Dom Dolla, "Diamonds On My Mind" immerses us into Brown's universe with a gritty fusion of thick textures, rousing vocals and a minimalistic rhythm. With lyrics emphasizing the value of the "work hard, play hard" mentality, this track serves as an ideal conclusion to the summer season.
