Fred again..'s new acoustic rendition of Actual Life 3 is more of a purr than a rumble.
The breakout U.K. producer, who was recently named to EDM.com's "Best Music Producer of 2022" list, has released an EP of beautiful piano covers of tracks from his third studio album. Slowing things down, Fred deconstructed five of the album's tracks and subtly sprinkled in soft pads, bells and ambient textures through each.
Last December, Fred set up shop on a rooftop to perform the tranquil AL3 covers before they hit streaming platforms and shared a video with aerial footage directed by LOOSE.

In early January, Fred joined Four Tet and Skrillex for a string of empowering performances. The last-minute shows were booked after the "Rumble" collaborators took to social media in search of a venue to host a pop-up performance. They quickly found one and went on to perform three more shows in the U.K. for a limited number of fans.
However, that certainly wasn't the first time Fred had performed with Four Tet. In October 2022, the two DJs took over a New York City waffle truck for an impromptu performance for the books.
