Ilan Bluestone has announced a hiatus from touring to focus on his mental health.
Bluestone, a pioneering producer of progressive house and trance music, addressed fans in a statement and revealed a "short" break from his touring schedule. He had been planning to perform November 25th and 26th at Dreamstate's back-to-back festivals in Sydney and Melbourne, respectively.
Bluestone took to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, to lament the cancellation of those gigs as he takes time to rest and recharge. He's remained prolific in 2023, releasing a handful of new singles, like the fan-favorite "Futuro," as well as official remixes for fellow trance icons Andrew Rayel and Chicane.
"The music industry and a heavy touring schedule can take a massive toll on the mind and body, and I need to focus on my mental health for the next couple of months," he wrote.
