Matroda Showcases Deeper Club Direction In Intoxicating “Jack The House 4” EP

Directly following his soulful single "In The Air," Matroda has returned with the fourth installment of his Jack The House EP series.

Out via his own Terminal Underground imprint, which was founded back in 2020 with the first Jack The House project, the series’ fourth installment once again finds the Croatian house music star displaying his prowess as an influential voice within the genre. Just like "In The Air," the new EP is an undeniable masterclass in minimalistic tech house.

In Jack The House 4, Matroda combines groovy basslines with layers of infectious ear candy for a result that’s tailor-made for the dancefloor. "My Mind” kicks off the project with a chaotic combination of retro vocals and distorted bass stabs before his earlier 2023 single, "Can’t Fight The Feeling," contrasts vintage piano chords with subtle bass house sensibilities.

The simplistic yet intoxicating production of “I Want It” and “Pump Up The Volume” makes for yet another testament to Matroda’s distinct style. “Talk To Me” in collaboration with TOBEHONEST rounds off the record with funky melodic elements and hypnotic vocals, seamlessly combining the two artists' respective styles.
