Michael Bibi Has Been Diagnosed With CNS Lymphoma, a Rare Cancer

Michael Bibi has revealed he's been diagnosed with CNS Lymphoma, a rare cancer that affects the brain and spine.

Weeks ago, the house music superstar and Solid Grooves founder was hospitalized with health problems that he initially attributed to tinnitus, a condition associated with hearing loss. He ultimately cancelled a number of shows, including a hotly anticipated performance at EDC Las Vegas, one of the world's largest electronic music festivals.

Now, Bibi has officially been diagnosed with CNS Lymphoma, he said in a candid Instagram post shared today.

"Hello world, writing this post is a hard one.. last week I was diagnosed with CNS Lymphoma," Bibi wrote. "A very rare cancer that effects the brain & spine. Unfortunately it’s moving fast & l to have to stay in hospital starting treatment immediately. Typing this message doesn’t quite seem real & I’m sorry for the bad news. I don’t know what lies ahead, I’m tired but I know I am strong & I won’t let this beat me."
