MO: most Russian UAVs do not meet the requirements of the department

Most of the aviation unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which are produced in the Russian Federation, do not meet the tactical and technical requirements of the Ministry of Defense, TASS reports with reference to the representative of the department, Colonel Igor Ischuk.

According to him, most of the UAV manufacturers cannot meet the requirements of the Ministry of Defense, since there are problems with the element base.

For this reason, Ischuk said, the department concludes additional agreements and accepts drones for operation in experimental mode.

A representative of the Ministry of Defense said that the most popular – UAV of electronic intelligence. We also need drones with jam-free navigation receivers at an affordable price.

Earlier it was reported that the first drone helicopter was certified in Russia. UAV VT 440 was developed by specialists of the Research and Production Enterprise “Radar MMS”.
