Nostalgix Holds Her Ground With Blistering House Track, “Step Back”

Don't get too close—Nostalgix is coming in hot.

The triple threat artist continues to prove herself as one of the most notable emerging talents in house music, and has courted the scene's leading labels in rapid fashion. Her latest release, "Step Back," arrives by way of Tchami's Confession imprint.

Back with another blistering bass house effort, Nostalgix is swinging into action with "Step Back." The new track sees her employing a complex concoction of biting distortion and rhythmic pluck bass in an arrangement that's simultaneously danceable and hot to the touch. The party-starting single embraces a certain rough-around-the-edges attitude with unapologetic vocals that stand their ground.

Nostalgix is operating well within her wheelhouse at the intersection of high-energy bass house and hip-hop, releasing another attention-grabbing song just ahead of peak festival season. Take a listen below.
