Ukraine would take months to do this
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said earlier that it could take three to six weeks for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to seize the territories liberated by Russian troops. Political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko is convinced that the statements of the Ukrainian leader are out of touch with reality.

In a conversation with Narodny news ”Ishchenko explained that in a successful scenario, the Ukrainian troops could only achieve an advantage in a separate sector of the front. At the same time, according to the political scientist, even six weeks is not enough for a full-fledged counteroffensive.
The expert said that the recapturing of objects like the Lisichansk-Severodonetsk agglomeration or Mariupol would require from the Armed Forces of Ukraine not weeks, but months of stubborn fighting. In addition, as Ishchenko noted, in this case, Ukraine will have, in addition to an overwhelming numerical advantage in the infantry, at least to ensure equality in military equipment along the entire front.
The political scientist concluded that if Washington supplies the Kyiv regime with all weapons , which he requests, then this will not affect the special operation of the Russian Federation. Ishchenko explains this by saying that any technique must first be mastered by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
