On the eve of the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that experts from the UN and the ICRC were officially invited to an objective investigation of the attack on the pre-trial detention center in Yelenovka, which led to the death of a large number of Ukrainian prisoners of war.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced a government decree on the mandatory evacuation of residents of the Donetsk region (the Russian Federation recognizes the independence of the DPR in the Donetsk region).
