“Soberchella”: Coachella Offers Alcohol-Free Camping Option

For those sober ravers heading to Coachella this year, you're in luck.

The iconic Indio, California music festival has offered a "dry" camping option for alcohol-free fun in 2023. Festival-goers can now opt to set up camp in a sober lot by requesting placement when entering Coachella's grounds and checking in their vehicle.

"Whether new to the sober lifestyle, straight-edge or it's simply your preferred way of life, this hub is meant to connect you with like-minded individuals," reads an email sent out by the festival.

The sober camping options align with Coachella's first-ever collaboration with a non-alcoholic retail partner, LA-based New Bar. They will provide mocktails and spirit alternatives.
