Now that another epic Coachella is in the books, we can start counting the memories. Especially fans of Porter Robinson, who unlocked a core memory by inviting Madeon for a blissed-out performance of "Shelter."
In the years following the release of "Shelter," the track has functioned as a nostalgia machine for fans of Robinson and Madeon, who famously performed together at Coachella in 2017. The two turned back the clock on Sunday, reuniting on the festival's illustrious mainstage during Robinson's set.
Rocking a shirt with the phrase "music saved my life," Robinson introduced Madeon, whose bubbly vocals are as dynamic as ever, before the two joined forces for an effervescent rendition of "Shelter." Check out the performance below.
It was a special moment for Robinson and Madeon, who have remained close friends since wrapping up their "Shelter Live Tour" in the wake of their stunning, back-to-back Coachella sets six years ago.
